City Christian Schools are preparing our children for the future in the area of computers. We offer 3 different levels of computer classes...

In Computer 1 class, your child will learn to use Microsoft FrontPage to create web sites using information found during research on the Internet. This class is project based.

Students will use PowerPoint, Publisher and FrontPage to create their projects.

In Computer 2, students will learn to use Excel Spreadsheet and Access database. Students work with HTML web development language.

There is an emphasis on real world projects using Excel and Access.

Students will also use Microsoft Money in order to learn to develop budgets and manage finances.

In Computer 3, students will receive practical experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting by maintaining the school computers and network. They will have the opportunity to build a computer system. Students will learn to use Visual Basic programming language to develop small programs.

Junior high students learn to use the computer and keyboard with a typing program in the 7th grade. Eighth grade students use Microsoft Works 4.5 to become aquainted with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access They will also begin to learn about web page development with a web page editor.
