City Christian Schools offer music classes for K-12 with a streamlined scope and sequence. The goal of this program is to develop life-long musicians and worshippers for the body of Christ. General Music classes K-6 emphasize music reading and ear training, enriched with a broad range of musical experiences. Beginning in 5th grade, students also participate in choir and band.
In Junior High, orchestra and choir become more performance oriented with students participating in festivals, musicales, and concerts. High School students have the option of Vocal Ensemble and Jazz Ensemble in addition to orchestra and choir, Every year each student participates and performs in a winter and spring musical. All student groups from 5th grade on have the privilege of ministering in the Sunday worship services at City Bible Church.
