For those who wish to home school, City Christian Schools have developed an Extension School that works very closely with our traditional school. Our Extension School director assists families with every aspect of curriculum choices, testing, grading, and record keeping. Regular quarterly meetings are required to evaluate students progress and meet the needs of each family. Permanent records and/or transcripts are kept for each student. California Achievement Tests are given at the close of each school year by a state approved test administrator. The CAT test is reviewed with parents at the year-end conference. A monthly newsletter is published to keep families up to date with current home issues and Extension School activities such as field trips, ACSI events, Geography Bee, and participation with elementary or high school athletic teams at CCHS.
